We are very excited to be photographing Amanda and Colin’s upcoming wedding this summer! This session was awesome! We planned for perfect weather here in Vancouver, WA and had such a wonderful sunset! It was great working with them on this engagement session! Their dogs were so cute – although a bit too excited to be outside photographing with us! This couple is great to talk to – when we first sat down and chatted about planning the wedding it had been 2 hours before we realized how long we had been sitting there!
We are very excited for the upcoming wedding, with some very talented wedding vendors and awesome surprises in store for their guests on their special day!
Tracy + David are getting married! This session took place this summer on a very busy day at Multnomah Falls – it was a little difficult moving around all of the tourists. BUT with a excellent assistant and some nice people waiting for us we were able to get some beautiful images. They had a lot of fun at this special spot and of course stopping to get ice cream towards the end was a little bonus. What a fun session!

Liz and Anthony are getting married later this month at the Portland Art Museum! We are so happy that they found us! We are really looking forward to their wedding! They are a really fun couple, we had a wonderful time during the engagement session – they are naturals. We had wonderful Portland summer weather for this session. We met at Bridgeport Brewery and walked around from there. Thanks you two! You guys look amazing!
We had fantastic weather this May! It was a great day in Portland, Oregon’s Washington Park. We started at the International Rose Test Garden. Despite tourists everywhere we moved around the beautiful rose garden and captured a lot of great moments! It was fun working with these two! They had never done anything like this and any nervousness quickly disappeared when we started shooting. The spring colors of flowers was showing in the bushes, but the roses still needed a few more weeks. What a happy couple! They are already married, but wanted to get a session done as a married couple to have images to treasure forever. We certainly hope they enjoy them forever. Thank you so much for choosing OneBloom to capture your portraits!
Jessica and Jon are getting married later this year. They needed some engagement photography done. We chose a date and got lucky! The weather turned out to be perfect – right between the days of rain showers. We started at the English Estate Vineyards in Vancouver, WA. We then moved onto the Historic Fort Vancouver area. We did a 2 hour session – it was perfect timing for the sunlight and we were able to get a ton of great engagement images for this happy couple! Thanks so much Jessica and Jon! We love the way everything turned out! You guys look amazing!

Lauren and Jackson are great together! We had a great time spending part of spring day with them. We started out at this old bridge near where Jackson’s parents live. A spot that the two have been to before. It was a great spot. We were basically alone on the campus and the rain held off for us. No sunshine – but we made our own. So glad to see it not raining finally! Our last few shoots have been rainy!
At the end of the engagement session, while packing up and talking about the session… We found a ton of Four Leaf Clovers! Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!Just more good luck to Lauren and Jackson. We’re happy and excited to photograph their wedding this September!Spring time is a great time for engagement pictures. With the trees blooming and the sunlight staying out longer and longer. It means golden rays of sunshine for perfect memories!
Some days you can’t win! Dana and Jasen booked this engagement session in advanced from their wedding package. They are getting married this year in Richland, WA. We’re hoping that the weather is better the next time we shoot together! We had no choice but to shoot – they drove 3 1/2 hours to get here! So, we started at Vancouver Lake park. They were great! It didn’t matter that it rained – it slowed everything down a bit and we all got soaked, but this couple had a great time! We met the next day for lunch and of course – it wasn’t raining. True Northwest fashion. Thank you for being so awesome Dana and Jasen!
Ashley and Matt chose the perfect time for their engagement session in downtown Vancouver, Washington. Right before we had our big cold spell! It was an overcast day – but we did get about 10 minutes of some sunlight!
Right away – you’ll see the height difference here! That height difference makes shooting a this cute couple a lot more challenging! I’m 6’3 so it’s hardly ever that I shoot someone that is much taller than me!
Ah, summer! The final warm days were perfect for Hannah and Andrew to meet with us to do an awesome 2 hour engagement session in the Pearl District. It wasn’t really an engagement session – these two were already married! They wanted to do a session for their 1 year anniversary! What a great gift! The light couldn’t have been better! It was warm and the parks and streets weren’t crowded. How awesome. They were fun to work with and the images show it!
I love my job. Working outside all the time, in beautiful locations with happy people. Melissa and Firas were fantastic and we had a ton of fun during their engagement session. We started up near the middle of the Fort Vancouver area and wandered around a bit until heading down to the beautiful Fort Vancouver area. It was a great session and we even passed another photographer that was leaving just as the light was getting to it’s best! The clouds made for changing lighting situations and Melissa and Firas were great to work with in creating their beautiful engagement images. We will be capturing their wedding in September!
