Devin and Elias had a fantastic hidden away ceremony on the Oregon Coast in South Beach, Oregon just down the road from Newport, Oregon. The day was perfect and the light was amazing. The wedding took place at Stonecrest Bed & Breakfast which was a fantastic venue to host a wedding. They made delicious food and hosted a perfect wedding! Every detailed was planned perfectly – we were even allowed to take photos of the flower girls trashing their dresses in the ocean! It was fun, we had a great trip and loved being there! Krista and Steve were married in the Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood in Oregon. It was a beautiful September day – and the smoke from the nearby wildfire was blowing well away from the mountain. Skies were clear and we had an amazing view of the mountain. It was a little windy so the decision was made to have the ceremony was inside. Steve and Krista are fantastic together. After shooting a wedding, you really get a sense that you know a couple. Listening to the toasts and being around your friends and family really gave me a great feeling about you as a married couple! It was great working with you! Congratulations Krista and Steve!

Noel and Matt were married at the John Palmer House in Portland, Oregon. In the Historic Mississippi District. The home was beautifully arranged for the wedding, with lots of room for all the guests to move around. The getting ready images of Noel took place upstairs in the beautifully restored bathroom. Lots of beautiful light coming through the large windows! The wedding and reception took place in the front yard, which had been completely set with lots of small tables and chairs around the yard to make for intimate conversation and fun! After the wedding, Noel and Matt wanted to go to Prost to celebrate with a beer. This was greeted with a lot of excitement in the small pub and lots of cheers of Congratulations!

As the sun set over the yard, it was beautiful with all the lighting on a perfect summer night. Toasts, dancing and celebrating ending the beautiful evening.

Kimberly and Greg’s wedding in Tacoma, Washington was casual, relaxed and easy going. However, they really wanted to ensure that they had good photos to remember the event. We were able to get plenty of images with Puget Sound in the background with the Golf Course. On the way to the location – I spotted an apple orchard and knew instantly that we had to go back to do some shots there. Sure enough, we went back as the sun was going down and managed to get some incredible images in the orchard. As we were leaving and snapping one last candid shot, Kimberly asked with a laugh ‘You love your job don’t you?’ I smiled, ‘Yes, I really do.’

We had such a fun time at Amanda and Kyle’s wedding. The day was perfect for a July wedding! The view was amazing and the Skamania Lodge was the perfect setting for a wedding.

Everyone was relaxed and enjoying the day. We had the chance to drive a golf cart down onto the course to snap some images after the ceremony, which was really fun. The sun started to set behind the lodge and it made for perfect light for some images of the couple. We love how your wedding photography turned out! I was so happy with the images – I posted a ton! Bri and Kevin – a very fun couple that made covering the wedding just fun. They reminded us of ourselves (my wife and I). Their love for each other truly showed and we enjoyed photographing their wedding. The wedding took place at the Red Barn in Chehalis, Washington on a beautiful June summer day. All of the details were covered and well planned for. The venue was beautiful and the BBQ was incredible. Haley and Eric will be getting married in Iowa! So, while they were here together in Portland they called me up and wanted photos in our beautiful Portland! Having no Portland knowledge, they left it up to me to choose where to take the photos. Well, here are the beautiful images they shot with me on a beautiful summer evening! We just launched the new OneBloom Photography wedding website. Also in the works is a new blog, portrait photography website and commercial photography website. Yes, we do it all. Where should we put the personal/artistic photography?

We love how the new site shows a stunning intro of 28 beautiful wedding images. The site works in smoothly in flash and HTML, including on the iPhone and other mobile devices. The new wedding photography website  features weddings and engagement photography from Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington as well. The goal was to create a simple open website that wasn’t cluttered or filled with anything unnecessary. So, we had to drop the personal work and that also meant portrait and commercial photography. So - two more websites are being created! The new OneBloom Photography Blog will match the wedding website and be a showcase for all of our photography projects and wedding updates!

Also, currently facebook group is experiencing awesome growth! The audience that it reaches is huge and the feedback we recieve is fantastic! Thank you all for your support and love!
